KAZ_LAB is a unique audio-visual event that sums up three editions of multimedia workshops devoted to Kazimierz district in Kraków. The workshops are inspired by the history, culture and legends associated with this place.

During the event, you will see the outcomes of the work of the teams that have participated in the workshops over the last three years – photographs, films and multimedia projects that were created during classes in the studio and outdoors. They all concern the history of Kazimierz and the Jewish community. KAZ_LAB is proof that multimedia forms can help in conveying history and culture. It is also an opportunity to meet the people who created these projects and share your own observations and ideas.

KAZ_LAB combines various fields of art. A screening of films and multimedia projects as well as a concert of experimental music is a great opportunity to talk and discuss the history of Kazimierz and the role of multimedia tools in education and culture. The event will take place in Kazimierz, in the building of the former Jewish Craft School, currently the seat of the Institute of Art and Design of the Pedagogical University.

Organized in cooperation with Uniwersytet Pedagogiczny im. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie, event as a part of the project „Laboratorium zmysłów”.

Free admission
