Calligraphic forms washed in golden sunshine

After 20 years of my absence in Krakow, I am glad to present my latest series of “Calligraphic forms”. It is a celebration of personal history and marks 20 years of my graduation from Art Insitute of Pedagogical University in Krakow. This is a collection of small size work that I have been working on for couple of years.  My goal was to find time during the busy day to devote myself to these creations. It is like a form of a daily prayer, meditation, even if it is for 15 minutes or 2 hours, it is something that is therapeutic and an escape from the world that is surrounding us.

I am fascinated with Hebrew Calligraphy for a long time, and I do return to this form of expression occasionally. Here I am exploring the meanings or words, names, and symbols in Biblical texts and Jewish tradition.
