Jewish Krakow (EN)

01.07.2023 - 15:00 / starting point: ul. Józefa 36

Krakow, Lviv, Warsaw, Vilnius, Łodź, hundreds of small towns throughout Poland. Each of these big and small towns and cities has a long history, and a part of it, is the history of the Jews who lived there. The history of people reflects historical processes, significant legal changes, which gradually opened up or closed various possibilities for Krakow Jews.

In Krakow, Jews lived not only in Kazimierz but also in the Old Town, where we can still see remnants of the Jewish life – let’s retrace them!
