Krakow’s Kazimierz (UA)

28.06.2023 - 15:00 / starting point: ul. Józefa 36

From the very first minutes of our walking tour, we will travel back in time to the past of Kazimierz and its inhabitants – we will find out about the fate, customs and  everyday life of Jews from the time of the Middle Ages until World War II.

We will see the house where lived Helena Rubinstein dubbed the empress of beauty. We will admire the exquisiteness and diversity of synagogues, we will hear legends about them. We will also see the cemetery at Remuh Synagogue – one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in Europe.

There will also be mention of the film “Schindler’s List”, which was shot in Kazimierz and why this district is so much loved today by Kraków’s bohemia.

I look forward to seeing you at out walking tour!
