Women of Kazimierz

Women, wives, mothers, ladies, wenches, girlfriends… When walking through Kazimierz, the names of the streets remind us of its former inhabitants, such as Rabbi Meisels or Berek Joselewicz. So why do so few places mention the names of its female inhabitants? Does Kazimierz only stand for the legendary Esterka and Sara Szenirer? This time we will take you on a walking tour in the footsteps of its silent female heroes.
